Xingyu Li received his B.E. and M.E. from Taiyuan University of Technology, China. During his work as a research assistant in Sichuan University, he focused on friction and aging behavior of polymer elastomers and the multi-functionalization for polymer composites.

Current research

Supervisors: Dr R. Bookman, Dr. Yael Segal (IOLR) and Dr Jack Silverman (IOLR)

His research aims to the main factor for sinking the plastic bags in the ocean, and tracing the life of plastic waste in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.
